Whether you’re recovering from a wild night or just enjoying the laziness of the weekend, brunch is the perfect thing to do on a Saturday or Sunday morning. And keeping it vegan is not so difficult if you know where to go. Choose among avocado toasts, savory wraps, homemade granola, full vegan breakfast, pancakes… here you have all of this!
At the end of this post you’ll find the map to Vegan Brunch in Cork, so you can save it if you want to keep it handy.
Dukes
4 Carey's Ln, Centre, Cork
Vegan options for breakfast:
- Açaà bowl
- Vegan sausage roll
- Vegan carrot cake
If you want to start your day in a healthy way go to Dukes and grab an açaà bowl. And don't think you'll be hungry after that, their vegan açaà bowls are, not only delicious and beautiful, they are super filling.
Naturally Nourished Cafe
Alfred St, Victorian Quarter, Cork, T23 YY09
Vegan options for breakfast:
- Porridge
- Vegan Waffles with caramelized banana
- Toast
Naturally Nourished Café has a few legit vegan options, a comforting porridge that you can order with different toppings (ask which ones are vegan), vegan waffles served with caramelized banana, granola with yogurt and toasts. The place in Penrose Wharf is really nice and quiet. Only negative point is they open just Mon-Fri.
Quay Coop
24 Sullivan's Quay, Cork
Vegan options for breakfast:
- spelt scone
- chocolate muffins
- breakfast bap
- tofu
- savory pastry
You can’t go wrong with Quay Coop as almost everything is vegan. They don’t have fancy avocado toast, just simple and tasty options that are always good. I love their spelt scone, that is vegan, but you can choose something savory among their subs, baps and pastries.
Liberty Grill
32 Washington St - Centre, Cork
- French toast
Liberty Grill got me with their vegan French Toasts. At the moment I think it’s the only vegan option they have for breakfast/brunch, but it’s totally worth it as they are sooo good. They change the flavours often, so keep an eye on their social media to see what’s coming for the weekend.
The Spitjack
34 Washington St, Centre, Cork
- Rotisserie Sweet Potato Toast
A classic for brunch in Cork has added a vegan option to their menu, the Rotisserie Sweet Potato Toast with vegan feta cheeze, avocado, tomato and rocket salad. Some of their toast -with mushrooms, with baked beans or with peanut butter and banana- seem easy to veganize.
The Bookshelf
Unit 5, The Elysian, Eglinton St - Ballintemple, Cork

- Veggie burger
- Banana bread
Pink Moon

Small, cute and dog friendly, Pinkmoon has always lovely vegan options for breakfast that go beyond the classic hummus or avocado toast. Take a look at their display window, full of vegan sweet treats that they change from time to time.

Good Day Deli
Nano Nagle Place, Douglas St, Centre, Cork

Vegan options for brunch:
- Vibrant vegan trio
- Vegan chocolate brownie
Even if they have just a couple of vegan options, you should go to Good Day Deli, a lovely place hidden in Cork city. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, you will enjoy this place the most in a sunny day looking through the windows and, yes, feeling good.
143V (Closed)
143 Lower Glanmire Rd - Tivoli, Cork

Vegan options for brunch:
- Everything
143V is not in the city center, you’ll have to walk for 10-15 minutes towards the train station to find it, but it worths a visit. The brunch menu offers toasts, porridge, chia pudding, tofu scramble, pancakes… The breakfast bagel (see picture above) is the best option if you’re in the mood for Irish breakfast. Do you need a boost of vitamins? Choose one of their fresh juices and smoothies, they have a big choice.
