Easy vegan pancakes for breakfast

Having pancakes for breakfast is one of the best ways to start the day. Most of the times I’m in a hurry for going out or doing things, but the other day I finally had the time to prepare these goodies. These easy and simple vegan pancakes are fluffy, yummy, delicious! Let's see how to make them.



Ingredients for vegan pancakes:

  • 1 cup of white flour
  • 1 tbs of sugar
  • 2 ts of baking powder
  • 1 cup of rice milk
  • 2 tbs of sunflower oil
  • A pinch of salt


How to make vegan pancakes:

  1. In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Add the sunflower oil and the rice milk, stir until combined.
  2. Heat a pan and grease it with oil or vegan butter. Add two spoons of batter and cook over medium heat for a couple of minutes. Using a spatula, flip the pancake and cook on the other side until golden.
  3. Serve warm with your favourite toppings.


Recipe notes:

  • Makes about 10 pancakes.
  • Some topping ideas are melted chocolate and grated coconut, peanut butter and banana slices, your favourite jam, fresh or frozen berries and maple syrup...
