Italian wine ring cookies

This cookies couldn't be easier to make and more delicious to eat, just four ingredients and less than 30 minutes is what you need.

Try them, you can't eat just one.

  • ½ cup white wine
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup sunflower oil
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • white sugar for coating

  1. In a medium size bowl whisk together wine, oil and sugar using a wooden spoon. Gradually add flour, a little at a time, until it all comes together.
  2. Transfer the dough to a slightly floured flat surface and knead for about 2 or 3 minutes, until it all comes together in a ball.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC. Line two cookie trays with parchment paper and set aside.
  4. Cut off a little dough at a time, roll into a small chubby rope and bring ends together to form a circle. Dip one side in sugar and and place on the tray.
  5. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, until pale golden in colour or firm to touch. Let the cookies cool completely before serving.

Recipe notes:

  • You can use red wine instead of white one.
  • Don’t over cook! Once the cookies are firm to touch, take them out from the oven.
